Life Prayerwatch, 10th May 2015

Our Life Prayerwatch is tomorrow!  We absolutely love being able to gather with the team from Image and pray God's truth and light to break in to the churches and across the nation regarding life issues.

Worship with the word

The Lord is my shepherd;
I shall not want.
He makes me to lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside the still waters.
He restores my soul;
He leads me in the paths of righteousness
For His name’s sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil;
For You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;
You anoint my head with oil;
My cup runs over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
All the days of my life;
And I will dwell in the house of the Lord
Forever.
— Psalm 23

Psalm 23 is very well know but also deep and full of truth and promises for us.  Knowing that God is a faithful leader and reminding ourselves that, regardless of what trials and difficulties surround us, God is with us, so there is no need to fear.  This place of trust and fearlessness positions us to enter boldly into intercession.

Intercession

For intercession, as well as continuing to pray for the staff and work of Image, we'll be praying for Christians and Christian crisis pregancy centres around the UK.  Christian organisations have been heavily criticised over recent years and there have been a number decisions made at various levels that have left little to no network for Christian centre across the UK.  We're going to focus our prayer on the establishing of a strong, relational network across the UK and beyond, for effective and clear biblical teaching and training for centres to maintain their Christian values which truly enable us to operate with compassion and care for people of all walks of life who make differing decisions.

Come and join us from 7-9pm tomorrow (Sunday 10th May) at the Mustard Tree in Ancoats as we lift high the name of Jesus and declare life over the nation.

Michael Ball

Husband, Father and Intercessory Missionary.
